Density of Matter

The primary reason why we find it hard to hold onto and integrate psychological change is the density of matter. Although, according to Quantum Physics (do see What the Bleep do we know) consciousness shapes matter and an observer affects what is observed--the implications of this are profound. Really. The problem is that matter, the body, is very dense and often we are carrying so many dense vibrations in our body (genetic disease, a multitude of pathogens) that we can't raise our energetic vibration to the a powerful enough level to actually change matter in a short period of time. Theoretically, changing our thoughts and our emotions can change our physiology--yet, like the brain, matter is plastic, yet paradoxically resistant to change.

Many new age approaches encourage us to think positive thoughts and feelings and to set the power of our intention---this is useful and has to be practiced as much as possible to the point where we can do this MOST of the time and not fall back into negative thought patterns. Many people try to pray away their diseases -- this could work but it would mean many hours daily of constant energy work and spiritual development, for which most people don't have time. Unfortunately, our society does not support us to spend years in an Ashram or a temple developing our spirituality -- Tibet is one of the few, if not the only, country whose goal was the enlightenment of as many people as possible and they structured life to achieve this goal. Don't even think about what China has done there, is unthinkable. We however have to work, raise kids, take them to hockey, clean the house and make dinner most days. Where is our time for meditation and prayer?? So, until we can raise or consciousness to a high enough vibration, we have to keep using all the healing tools we have at hand and that give us benefit. Thoughts?

Experiences with Chanting

I have taken up the practice of chanting morning and evening. The experience has been profound. I have selected Namu Myōhō Renge Kyō - a Buddhist chant - it is the central practice of all forms of Nichiren Buddhism.

I am exploring vibrational healing from sound, not just in vibrational remedies that I recommend to people. I don't think that this will replace the remedies, but it adds an entirely different dimension to healing.

What I do is ask for a specific pattern or process to be healed before I chant and then start chanting. Sometimes images or memories arise and I pay attention and keep chanting.

Try it for 100 days and then lets compare notes. In fact, lets compare notes as we go through the 100 days!

Medical Qi Gong

Medical Qi Gong provides the theoretical energetic foundation and understanding for profound healing and empowerment. I find that working with Qi Gong energy medicine practice along with vibrational remedies brings the deepest and lasting healing for myself and for clients.

Barbara Brennan's school of energy healing has an excellent program yet it doesn't have the depth I found in Qi Gong in terms of understanding and working with energy for self-healing. It also doesn't teach the art of accessing and utilizing the tremendous inner power we have. It is theoretically possible for people to control their physiological and psychological processes, yet few of us have cleared ourselves enough to access these abilities. Thus, self-healing is important--we need to feel in charge of our own healing process--or rather, deeply aligned with our own process--and to be able to regulate our own energies. Donna Eden's Energy Medicine teaches self-healing exercises but it seems to lack something--perhaps it is the comprehensiveness that Qi Gong provides and perhaps because it is auric and chinese medicine modified to make sense to Westerners. Any thoughts?

Spiritual & Psychological Changes - Why don't they last? Why the body backlash?

A significant number of people along with me have observed that and pondered why spiritual or psychological changes they make don’t hold. Have you had the common experience of going on a weekend workshop or having a breakthrough in counselling, feeling transformed and illuminated for a few days but quickly dropping to your old level of functioning? Even worse, sometimes your body will rebel when emotional and spiritual changes occur on the auric level. Why does this occur?

Why does changing your thoughts and beliefs and incorporating spiritual practices usually result in reversion to the old patterns or worse, result in a huge backlash from the unconscious? Why do you continually fall back into old ways of thinking and feeling after making great progress?? Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences. I will add some of my own soon!
